I can feel the beat in my heart. Call and response Song

”I can feel the beat in my heart” - action song/call and response Song written by Jenny Lee

Initially the client I wrote the song for was a young man with cerebral palsy, who has very minimal movement in his body.

The only movement that he has some control of is with his head and his fingers!

I was picturing myself in his shoe, and imagining where music could take me. Along came this funky groove.

As I was recording this song to share, I decided to make it more generic so that it can suit a wider audience.

Be it ‘lockdown’ or not, let’s create some space for movement! Be creative, be groovy, and have fun 😉
